Good Ripple ("we", "us", "our") is a community platform for mapping and tracking acts of kindness. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign up (including via Google sign-in), we store your email address, name, and account role.
• Content you post. The deeds, stories, challenge posts, and photos you submit, including the location you provide for them. If you enable location features, we use your device location only for the action you requested (for example, finding your city for a local challenge).
• Photos. Photos you upload are stored so they can be displayed with your post. They are visible to other users as part of that post.
• Usage information. Basic analytics about how the app is used, such as which features are popular, to help us improve the app.

How we use your information

• To create and maintain your account.
• To display your deeds on the kindness map and in feeds — including to other users, unless you post anonymously.
• To review submitted content. Good Ripple is a positive-only community: posts are screened (including with automated tools) to keep out political, divisive, hateful, or negative content before or after it appears.
• To track your deed count and community status tiers.
• To keep the platform safe and to comply with legal obligations.

What others can see

Deeds, stories, challenges, and any photos you post are visible to the community. If you choose "Share anonymously," your name is not attached to that post. Location information is only shown as the location name you provide (such as "City, Country"), not your precise address.

Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help run the platform (for example, hosting, sign-in providers, and content screening tools), and when required by law. Aggregate, non-identifying statistics (like total deeds logged) may be shared publicly on the Impact page.

Children

Good Ripple is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Your choices

• Post anonymously at any time.
• Withhold your location by typing a general location instead of using device location.
• Contact us to request deletion of your posts or account.
